Lending to individuals, families and businesses

We lend to individuals, families and to commercial entities such as limited companies and partnerships, and we also lend to trusts and SIPPs. All of our mortgages are available on either a repayment or interest-only basis. Below are some examples of the types of lending we offer to those resident in the UK, and who have a current account with us:

  • Residential mortgages: We provide secured lending, both on a repayment basis and interest-only. We can offer mortgages on a variable or fixed rate, and we are able to take all a client's income into account, and welcome more complex mortgage enquiries
  • Retirement mortgages: Interest-only mortgages designed to help clients enjoy greater financial flexibility in their later years
  • Holiday let mortgages: For those with property rental businesses, we provide financing for properties that are rented out as holiday lets
  • Property loan: We lend to fund the purchase of one property, where the borrowing is secured on a separate property
  • Family (Guarantor) mortgages: We are happy to work with clients who are looking to support others, often family members, with a property purchase by guaranteeing the loan and/or the payments, see more detail on our 'Guarantor & family mortgages' page
  • Secured overdrafts: To help clients manage their borrowing flexibly we also provide secured overdrafts
  • Unsecured loans and overdrafts: Where we have an established relationship in place, we can offer lending for smaller sums on an unsecured basis that can enable purchases without disturbing personal investments

"Do you lend on an ‘interest-only’ basis?"

All borrowing is subject to status and is available to persons of 18 or over. Security might be required for borrowing in the form of a charge or standard security over land, or other forms of security over your investments or other assets. YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON A MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER DEBT SECURED ON IT.
